Disinfection of vehicles
Disinfection of the car. Why and who needs it?
Ambulance vehicles and vehicles carrying food occupy a special place in ensuring epidemiological and nutritional security of the population.
With regard to sanitary vehicles, to any reasonable person it is obvious that the vehicles carrying sick people, corpses or biological wastes need disinfection to interrupt the epidemic process. Disinfection of the SMP vehicles and other services carried out in their respective fleets under the first-aid stations and so on., i.e. for disinfection of sanitary transport specialized contractors are involved rarely.
So we're going to talk about disinfection of vehicles transporting food products, a procedure which is obliged to carry out any carrier food.
Why and what for? — You will ask.
The answer is obvious — if you carry food in the car, the van of which is contaminated with microorganisms, leading to damage to products or human disease, it will sooner or later become the cause of infectious diseases or poisoning of humans. And then not to avoid sanitary-epidemiological investigation, administrative punishment, and if the consequences of such irresponsibility are heavy — and criminal prosecution.
Regulatory framework under which facilities for disinfection of vehicles transporting food products.
Here we will refrain from a simple enumeration of the normative documents, which can be found in the relevant section of our website. Much more important to give the reader an understanding of the logic of existing rules and standards governing the disinfection of vehicles transporting food products.
Thus, in accordance with GOST R ISO 22000-2007, it is necessary to identify and manage all risks for the quality of food produced. Thus, in the chain of food products involved manufacturers of feeds and raw materials, direct food production, transportation and storage.
Risks associated with the transportation of food products are very diverse, among which are:
- The migration of rodents and insects from one production site to another, in a warehouse or retail chain.
- The risks associated with contamination of perishable products by various microorganisms that can cause spoilage of food and/or infectious diseases of humans
- Failure to comply with the required temperature regime
I must say that the implementation of the requirements of GOST R ISO 22000-2007 mandatory for all food manufacturers, in compliance with the Technical regulations of the Customs Union CU TR 021/2011 "On food safety" .
Thus, carriers of food products are required to effectively manage the risks associated with contamination and spoilage of products by microorganisms. How to do it?
This question is answered by another normative document "manual on sanitation of specialized rolling stock and containers employed in the transportation of food products" (approved. The Ministry of health of the RSFSR 03.05.1978, transportation Ministry of the RSFSR 15.05.1978), are still not invalid. In addition, in the majority of subjects of the Russian Federation, there are local regulations governing the issue of disinfection of vehicles transporting food products.
These include, for example, is the Resolution of the tsgsen in Moscow from 05.04.2000 N 5 "On the sanitary certification of vehicles for transportation of food" with the "Instruction to carry out washing and disinfection of transport for transportation of food products."
